Here’s a hard pill:

Your body is a reflection of your daily habits.

Your wealth is a reflection of your daily habits.

Your mood is a reflection of your daily habits.

Most of your perceived problems in life are your own fault

The sooner you own it, the sooner you can fix it.

The book Atomic Habits made a big difference in my life. It’s all about stacking small habits in ways that add up to a big difference. Examples: I make my bed before I turn on my computer and put a book on my pillow. When I enter my room for bed, my phone goes on the charger across the room from my bed and I read until I’m tired. Makes a big difference in sleep quality. Another small habit is that while I brush my teeth I do 50 heel lifts. It gets me started working out for the day and I try to integrate other small workouts throughout my day since I don’t have time to go to the gym. I own a small business and one of the new habits I plan to try is every time I get a purchase order, I have to make a cold call before I can confirm the order. This is to prevent being complacent when business feels good.

These habits are great!!! So cool to read! Keep it up

But...Colonialism?

Jk balls are too huge for that excuse after 60+ years. Its all my fault. Always will be.

And it can always change, for the better or worse. Choose your destiny.

People who are doing well in life always like to believe it was their own merit that got them there. When they eventually get shafted by a rigged system or an unethical rival they're just as quick to say they were cheated.

Cold hard fact of life: Everything that ever happens to a person is their responsibility, whether it is their fault or not.

Those who embrace this truth tend to fare wayyy better than those that don't.

If that were true there would be no civil courts and no civil lawyers helping the super wealthy to pursue their grievances. But lawyers dine out very well on aggrieved wealthy people who were subjected to external influence working against them.

People tend to say that when they're winning. I did.
