Bitcoiners: Money Saving Tip (Apple Sucks)

Issue: MacBook Air 2015 was incompatible with going from MacOS 12 to MacOS 13 and TurboTax 2024 wouldn't load after purchase

Solution: Open Source OpenCore Legacy Patcher Download to the rescue

Story:

I didn't read the fine print when I downloaded my latest TurboTax and it says it isn't compatible with my old MacBook Air 2015. I searched and searched. It's a pain, but you can override Apple's "Hardware is Incompatible" with this awesome open source software. It's a pain, you essentially have to duel boot from USB then put the install on the hard drive but it works great.

I now was able to upgrade to a newer version of AppleOS without having to buy new or better used hardware and my MacBook Air still is kicking. TurboTax loaded fine.

Follow these instructions and they work great, I had to create another bootable installer on the hard drive so I didn't have to keep rebooting from the USB disk. OpenCore Legacy Patcher

(Once again OPEN SOURCE IS KING)

Works Great. TurboTax 2024 is working and screw you to Apple on Planned Obsolescence and I can stack more Bitcoin.

I am old school, I remember Macs from the 1980s, the processors, hard drive, and memory are still great. What a joke, Apple, forcing people to upgrade perfectly good Hardware.
