My personal #linux journey began with #corellinux in 1999 and I quickly moved through #redhat and #suse before landing on #slackware. I was on a Gateway 2000 Solo 2500 laptop with a 333Mhz Pentium II and the blue nipple in the keyboard.

I fed distro CDs into that thing like it was starving trying everything from #freebsd to #beos (not Linux, I know).

My longest-run distros since then have been #linuxmint and #fedora.

But after 24 years, I've happily landed on #debian 12. And I'm enjoying being too old to hop.

Haha, I think I still have a bunch of ftp.cdrom.com archive disks full of old linux distros and software hanging about somewhere.

I probably do too. Buried in a stack of books from O'Reilly. Would make a cool collage.
