IMO,

every 500 years or so, something occurs which resets global power structures.

every 100 years or so, there is repeating topical timeline cycle which restarts.

every 70 years or so, political ideas recycle.

every 30 years or so, cultural ideas recycle

And every once in a great while, like every 2000 years or so, all these cycles reset at the same time.

which is, where i believe we are.

i have no proof, or reproducible evidence of this, and im just a dude who lives in a tiny house under an Alder tree forest. so discount at your leisure. but it seems about right to me.
