I’m not going to pretend like I’m doing okay. COVID was the best time of my life. I made so many great lifelong friends, I didn’t leave the house for two years, I learned so much about myself and grew so much as a person (20 lbs worth), I got 1600$ from the government for free, I got to take two weeks off work for a cough that lasted 2 days.

And yesterday, with a stroke of the pen, Brandon ended it for good and all.

The closest thing we’ve ever gotten to heaven on earth, and it’s gone, and it’s never coming back. So I’m not going to pretend like I’m doing okay. You don’t need to either. We were all in it together during COVID, I think we can all grieve together, too.

Thank you, COVID 19. Thank you for everything. I’ll never forget you.
