I switched phone plans and it came with a phone upgrade. I opened YouTube without loading my old credentials and saw the base algorithm for new users.
It’s absolutely disgusting. It targets children with the worst clickbait, and there is actual porn on the front page. Everything was set to target children.

Whenever I check to see what’s the most popular videos on YT. All I can is cringe nowadays. I am not sure if google is playing a joke on us or if humanity has lost its minds.
Their algo is so bad it’s hard to find anything you should be recommended.
The base algorithm that I found with the new phone was honestly disgusting. If there is a way to replicate it you can view for yourself. (Clear all prior data and be a fresh user)
