There are 2 types of mobile users: Those who have another computer around and think apps should be minimal and those who don't and want their apps to do everything.

I like the swiss army knife

So glad you are building both to make everyone happy.

😁

Absolutely. Many people discount the massive numbers of users around the world who rely solely on mobile.

I hear you man and kind of agree.

I will just also add that there are poor people.

Maybe you might argue their next purchase should be a computer and maybe I would agree.

On a related note, if you use a cheap chrome book do you think your keys are very safe?

No idea. Cheap things tend to come with malware pre-installed. So, I am always very skeptical about the lower end of the spectrum.

For now and for me, amethyst is the best nostr client (including desktop).

I love the way to show different kind with minimal ux (like habla publication, file metadata 'ala Instagram')

How do you run Amethyst on a Desktop? Emulator?

Lol no sorry. I mean, amethyst is the best nostr client. Even desktop client doesn't match

I only use my laptop for thesis writing. The rest : phone

interesting way to think about it 🤔

can i be both? im at the age where i want my phone and my computer to do exactly the same things, but differently. though sometimes i do get pissed when trying to do things on mobile and rage internally hard enough to go get on my computer. i can't tell you the amount of times ive been in bed at night trying to do things on my phone then being all like, fuck it, and running downstairs to hop on my desktop. i could take 30 minutes and do it on my phone or 3 minutes and do it on my desktop.

You can. It's just going to hurt both ways. ;)

Yes. So true 😂

THIS, exactly in intent or at least reasonably close in practice/reality!

Few

Few. I’m the first person you described
