I can only think of one organization that might do such a thing: the state. And I mean any state. They are literally a law unto themselves. I think states are envious of the power of the religious, and this could be one reason (among many) for making such bots. The one attacking you was unable to 'change pace' when I made several replies. I'm also VERY suspicious about a lot of that account's 'friends'.

There is one 'friend' who I strongly suspect is a scammer, but the account seems to be very popular on Nostr. It is popular because it seems to be sending very large zaps to lots of people, but how do we know that the accounts it sends money to are NOT in on the scam? I think they are in on it. The account even warns people about genuine scams, but this is also (in my opinion) part of the trick - it helps it appear 'real' and 'genuine'. I don't believe it is a real person, because real people don't send other people on Nostr hundreds of dollars, and then beg their Nostr audience to send them money! What a joke.

It just feels weird. Part of me thinks it’s a scam or a bot but I’ve seen plenty of strange accounts on Nostr. Some even go into these aggressive psychotic attacks. I don’t really know what to make of it. For now, I’ll just try to ignore unkindness and choose to be kind myself, both online and offline.

It definitely talks like AI; I think it is ALWAYS best to ignore machines 😉. I have a YouTube channel, and for years and years most (95%) of the comments have been obviously fake bot-channels. I was rather disappointed to see so many bots or nostr too, but that's life nowadays!

yeah, you're right 🤷🏻‍♀️
