My guess is yes. Gold has what, a 20k year head start? But, is it easier to self custody bitcoin or gold? we all know the answer.

All that said I would guess that bitcoin is winning the trend. Most of the people shilling gold now are shilling paper gold.

Definitively... i mean, I know at least a dozen (more or less elderly) people who have a chest full of Krugerrands (this coin was somewhat popular here in Germany in the 50s - 70s)
