and yes, that is bad, and sad. but it's complicated when the US has a strategic interests issue in the form of internationally condemned trade practices, esp concerning oil. we've got a narcissism-in-foreign-policy problem and it's putting our military in even more danger.

time to pay the piper and stop expecting that the world will treat us kindly if we keep trying to take things by force. this is not our service members' fault.
