If someone they view as a fascist / Hitleresque figure wins, will some on the left come to terms with the fact that democracy is a terrible form of government and instead we need a libertarian system based on individual liberty and the non-aggression principle?

If someone they view as a socialist / authoritarian figure wins, will some on the right come to terms with the fact that democracy is a terrible form of government and instead we need a libertarian system based on individual liberty and the non-aggression principle?
At the very least, it doesn’t make sense for a significant portion of the population to be ruled by a party they despise. Time to consider returning more power to the states or even a break up of the U.S. so people can at least be ruled by the authoritarian of their liking?
