The focus of nostr should be to be a place of freedom for those under oppressive governments. Nostr can be a place of refuge for those in countries like Iran, who have no access to any platform where they can speak freely.
It is to a degree, unfortunately it is banned in many countries.

Yeah, but People's internet connection can be in socialist countries.

China, North Korea, ect.
It makes it harder for normies but not the savvy. China still has 20% of the world's hash power despite it being illegal to mine there.
