I was a photographer many years ago so no direct effect there. I've been an artist of sorts my whole life and although the pen hobby came about after she was born the artistic aspect was established already.

The passion for handwriting came about as a reaction to the school system and the ideological agendas therein. I want to teach my daughter to think for herself and I think that starts with being able to read and write.
