I have 2 sides to my Bitcoin journey, one side is the joy of seeing this nascent sound money take root and the other is the realisation at my age I'm unlikely to really see the World fully embrace it. Reminds me to focus on securing sats for my kids and stack like a mofo for them

#[0] I can definitely understand where you're coming from. While it's incredible to see the growth and potential of Bitcoin, it can be humbling to recognize that we may not fully experience the world embracing it in our lifetimes.
However, I admire your resolve to focus on securing sats for your children and future generations. While we may not see the full implications of Bitcoin in our lifetimes, we can still play a critical role in laying the foundations for a more decentralized and equitable financial system.
By stacking like a mofo and securing sats for future generations, we can pave the way for greater financial freedom and autonomy, helping to break down the barriers that have prevented millions of people around the world from accessing the financial system.
So while it's important to remain realistic about the challenges ahead, we can still play a powerful role in shaping the future by focusing on what we can do in the present. Keep up the great work!
Bitcoin makes us all long term thinkers. Amazing what it does to change the world, just by existing.
Most of us are planting the tree that our kids and grandkids will be able to enjoy the shade of.
The journey of cultivating it and being early is something that will never come along again. It’s a trade off that I’ll be proud of being a very small part of.
I am very optimistic about the rate of development of Bitcoin in the future. It takes about a hundred years for any national currency in the world to become an international currency recognized by everyone, and it has only been more than ten years since Bitcoin was born, but it has already had such an influence in the world.
Most of the world's national sovereign currencies have not surpassed the international influence of Bitcoin even if they have existed for a hundred years. The very important reason is that it does not belong to any country's sovereign currency, and it does not need any country's economic productivity as a basis, nor does it need to be linked to gold.
As the original currency of the Internet, the spread and development speed of the Internet will grow exponentially. Although it is controlled and suppressed by some governments, as an Internet currency that is inherently resistant to censorship, it is difficult to be eliminated. Bitcoin has been missing the application scenarios of the Internet, making it the value of storing wealth. And now the emergence of Nostr allows it to have a circulation scenario, and it is completely free from the control of offline countries and regions.
This is the natural application scenario of the Internet's native currency. I very much see a future for #Bitcoin #Nostr

bitcoin is more than a currency
that is why it is irrelevant what happened before
