The Oklahoma bill news seems like people are celebrating some sort of win. The bill never even mentions #bitcoin by name, just a bunch of general terms that bitcoin uses (but also a fuck ton of moronic nonsense also use these terms). This seems like a compromised text that some politician wanted to pass to gain popularity given the current climate/hostility toward the bitcoin & cryptocurrency space. I'm not trying to diminish the work done by those in OK to bring the topic to the forefront, but it should have specifically stated bitcoin in the law, or else it stands to just be loosely interpreted and selectively enforced (if it doesn't get trumped by a federal ban). end rant.
