For me it depends🔎,

if a person does his/her job

=> according to the rules, then I accept it (respect power)

BUT if that (POWERFUL) person doesn't follow the rules him/herself, he/she colors outside the lines of the law (a wolf in sheep's clothes can be found in every sector, unfortunately also in the government), then

it it becomes more complex to follow/accept this person blindly, if he/she is an honest person then it's easy to make a decision.

Always be vigilant, no matter the position the other person has..

Why?

It's simple, people in power can misuse their position😮‍💨 🤔, they are not always the good guys or girls (men/women) ;-)
