Not sure if you already know, if you use BraiinsOS, you can squeeze more hash from the s9 or undreclock it down to about 6 Th/s and keep it almost completely quiet. The power supply fan becomes the noisiest thing. In that case, change it or undervolt. Great fun project.

How noisy are they really? I've had a 5inch duct fan and could only turn it to very lowest setting around 50db. Was like a plane taking off
What are the very lowest settings? If I push the boards down to 8V & 300MHz, the fans are at 1% (set min to 75C). This does about 6Th/s.
The noisiest part is the power supply fan. Easy fix is to replace for something slower or reduce the voltage, powering the fan - !!!BEFORE YOU DO THAT, MAKE SURE THE SUPPLY DOESN'T NEED THAT MUCH OF COOLING!!!
