Why would they go for permissionless?

Open and Decentralized models are a direct threat to the establishment.

They will always look to drive people and systems into Close, Centralized & Gated models to maintain control and power.

All this will be sold "for our own safety."

That's what Bitcoin has enabled.

It has opened the doors for a world where we can build new models that don't depend on a third party.

But Bitcoin was just the beginning, now, we are building on those principles, this thing that we call Web3.

I hope BTC Maxis will come to see that if we truly want to change the system, we need more than just a store of value, digital gold.
