Mum looks so different after dad died. I guess some people evolve like some Pokémon. I wish she still had that leather jacket.

You look so much like her! I think that we are someone before, during, and after our impactful life events. Not sure I'm getting the words quite right, but I'm a different person now than before I had a kid and I know I'll be different when he's independent. I don't want to think about not having my cheese around...
