This is very simple. Why hasn't anyone done it before?
I don't know, but I imagine it has to do with the fact that people making social networks are either companies wanting to make money or P2P activists who want to make a thing completely without servers. They both fail to see the specific mix of both worlds that Nostr uses.
是的。为什么不能就有server呢？博客运动就是如此。我还记得blog.com被谷歌收购以后全行业的落寞。之前还有usenet 邮件组 irc discuz论坛等等。
现在只有wordpress存活了。
谁能设计一个协议出来谁就长久，所以邮件组还是不可替代的，irc还是有人用的。但是他们都不是twitter这种形式的。
其实twitter本身也是blog和irc和论坛的混杂。
谁还记得当年blog的back link 被别人引用的成就感。但是，个人维护的博客始终会难以维继（wordpress倒是最后以建站工具存活了） 公司维护的博客其实是被twitter这样的内容工具替代了。
人始终还是有个人独立的诉求和创造性的。人都不愿意被困着，被当成猪养。
