It's amazing how much hope people still put into politics with everything that's happened

Especially outside the US...

It's just a topic that serves to see who people are more committed to, Trump or libertarian principles... although perhaps I'm missing somewhere

Yeah it's a good point

What do you think of Milei? I think he's an interesting comparison.

I think the US has too many tentacles in too many places. Even if the President were committed to libertarianism, increasing libertarianism at home can mean increased suffering abroad...

Defending yourself from the state using the state is a very debatable topic. I am not a reformist, I always believe that the best solutions are without the state. In Argentina it was Milei or default, luckily they did not fall into default. There are those who prefer a classroom of 5 brilliant students and others who prefer a classroom of 45 students: 1 brilliant, 10 average and 34 mediocre... this last is what Milei has brought you to the movement, both with their advantages and disadvantages but I always prefer the first

In your analogy he is still bringing some mediocre departments rather than have fewer brilliant ones? I think I remember him justifying that with his "realism" perspective 🤔 and am I right that this is a transitional step so as not to be too much of a sudden change?

Feels like Argentina is in a unique geopolitical situation to be able to pull that off. Vs US

Oh, no… I was referring to the new people who are entering into libertarianism, ancap and all that

The thing about the departments is the same as what I mentioned… defending oneself from the state through the state is debatable, anyway, it is also good to reduce the state… at least as a traditional state country, they are better
