I can load fiat from my bank into Strike, pay a bitcoin lighting invoice at a Square merchant directly from that Strike fiat balance, and the Square merchant can receive it directly as fiat on their end. No bitcoin transacted by me or the merchant, but bitcoin was used as the rail to transfer the value from me to them, and we both save on paying credit card processing fees.
