Am I the only person who hates the song, Rudolph the red nose reindeer?
Think about it, what lesson is it teaching? It’s teaching you that it’s ok to ostracize and make fun of someone for being different until you need them for something, then they are acceptable. What say you?

It was created as a customer promotional by a guy at the Montgomery Ward department store in Chicago. So not the high watermark of moral storytelling. But it apparently was based on his own childhood experience of not fitting in and apparently inspired by the ugly duckling story. So it has a little heart behind it.
All that said, I agree, but I also prefer the traditional Christmas hymns over pretty much all of the secular 20th century tunes.
