GM Nostr

My chickens got to this when I turned my back yesterday. It hasn't had time to grow strawberries yet. Do any of you know if I can save this? Or is it even worth it?

Thank you! :)

If they didn't tear up the root crown too much, it will probably recover if you give it a little TLC.

Thank you. They didn't get to the roots thank goodness.

If you have any liquid fertilizer that'll give it a quick nitrogen boost (like liquid seaweed or kelp), that will help it start to put leaves back on faster.

I had goats eat blackberrys I had in a pot waiting to transfer. They survived and are growing back nicely. Strawberrys aren't quite as hardy and resilient as blackberrys but as long as the roots weren't damaged too badly, they should be fine. Throw some mycorrhiza in to give the roots a boost.
