BREAKING NEWS: Egyptian authorities hunting for people carrying US. dollars.

The Egyptian authorities have started setting up roadblocks around the country for spot checks of vehicles, and their occupants, looking for any dollar bills.

Anyone caught carrying US. dollars on their person will face fines/imprisonment and the confiscation of all their dollars. They will also be forced to reveal the source of where they got them.

Most traders who trade using the dollar have been warning each other and have decided not to work today, in fear of getting caught.

For a country that is facing inflationary rate of about 1%/day, its people are getting squeezed hard financially.
