Haven’t flown close after getting work done. But alcohol = blood thinner, so I’d definitely refrain. Water before and after for hydration body and skin wise will be 🗝️
I got a Tatoo in Vegas, drank a lot and flew back to Japan a couple days later.
Bleeding makes the ink go away, so it looks faded.
Zero worried. Like, don’t get it on ur ass and sit on a 12 hr flight cuz that would be dumb. But really, you’re not getting full body, black work or anything.
I literally have never heard of either such suggestions. A bit over the top imo. 😂
I have heard and know they say, don’t drink the night before because it thins ur blood and you will bleed more. Same goes for coffee the day of.
You could get sensitivity if it's not healed enough before a flight. Pressure changes. But that depends on if the tattoo is in ... well ... certain areas.
The drinking one I have never heard, but I drank after getting mine, and I am "fine" 😂 #debatable

Not sure of the link between tattoos and flying is, explain? As for drinking, I wouldn't worry much about that. Drinking the following day should be ok. While I don't recommend substance abuse, I've been in recovery for about 6 years and have gotten tattoos while drunk and high off opiates that look perfectly fine a decade later. Best bet, follow the advice of the professionals.
