5 years ago, Southeast Asia’s Internet economy was projected to reach 240 billion USD by 2025. By end of 2022, the digital economy hit $200 billion in gross merchandise value (commerce good sales). There are about 400 million internet users with almost or over 70% internet penetration (except for myanmar, timor-leste and laos - but laos is picking up). Trade with China is about $1T, and 1/3 the value with the US in 2022. The biggest suppliers of arm dealers and space tech for SEA is Russia. It would be interesting to see the outcome of USD vs Brics and the impact on SEA. I think Bitcoin is a perfect mediator
