In the Silk Road era, bitcoin was stigmatized as a tool for criminals. Now, a decade later, it’s clear that any centralized organization has the power to arbitrarily prevent any legal business or even an entire industry from accepting payments.

Their hubris will be their undoing.
You can’t just cut people out of systems and expect them to go wither and die, that’s not how humans work. They will find ways around it and given the alternatives already available it’s not like it’s even difficult for them to get around this.
