So a few years ago I made the mistake of buying a VSKA. I got what I deserved for not doing my research first. I’ve only put 15 rounds thru it, and have since bought a WASR, I was planning on selling the VSKA, but with the new MI gun laws taking effect at the end of the year, that’s not happening.

Anyway, I’d like to make this rifle safe to use. I’ve heard it’s the bad trunnion(s) that create the headspace issue. I am not a gunsmith and do not have the tools to do much more than basic maintenance. Any serious work needs to be done by someone with the proper equipment and knowledge.

With that being said, does anyone have any suggestions for me on the best course of action to make this guy safer to use?
