I built it but it seems like magic! This is me paying 1000 sats to my hat and seeing the resulting transaction in the associated wallet.

Lots of serious protocol stuff happening underneath the service. Designed like the existing card payment networks but decentralized with #nostr underneath. No banks, no credit card companies. You issue your own payment card! All encrypted end to end.

Would NFC to NFC be possible? Like a transaction that 2 people make on a regular basis (eg milk) and neither need their phone, but could have agreed on the transaction cost prior on nostr?

Possibly. That would be a transaction where the two parties are offline. That would require an ecash transfer via NFC or Bluetooth. It would require a beefier NFC tag as the token sizes are unpredictable. I figure that 99% of transactions will have at least one party on line. I also figured how to receive a payment from a NFC tag (my hat). I will make a demo of my hat making a payment.

Where do you nickname the wallet 👒

In the danger zone. Custom handle

does the word "zap" show up in your account history when I zap you as that is my custom handle?

OK. more stuff in the danger zone... looking around in here.

Can I log in to nostr with this account?

Your here!

No. this is my old nostr account from before amber went to the "new" npubs... I don't really know what that means.

I'm asking if I can throw the SafeBox recovery phrase into Amber to log in as this SafeBox account? Or would I use the PubHex? How do access the full PubHex? Backup only throws access key and recovery phrase onto clipboard.

No idea what any of that means and it all sounds very confusing

Funny how people be like," I can Apple pay just like that."

Lol yeh... I get my coffee from walmart.

why did you have to use the word "virus" in the invitation qr code link?

BIP-39 seed word. No control over random generation.

OK. Thanks. makes sense.
