Every single time I have tried using ecash, it has been disastrous and unusable. My ecash balance in the UI quickly disconnects from any real balance or ability to transfer it out with lightning.

Most recently, I put 1,000 sats into my shopstr wallet and then withdrew 500 and the balance in the UI actually went UP to 1516. Except I can’t actually send or receive seemingly any amount via LN

This kind of thing is never going to work for normies. They’re never going to trust an on-screen balance that *might* be correct, at least certainly not without tech support to call
