That is attempting to address Genesis in a non-supernatural view, most likely leading to the common misunderstanding "Sethite" view, which IMO is deeply flawed.

...more deeply flawed than thinking YHWH is merely a tribal deity? Because it seems to me that would be the inevitable conclusion of the line of interpretation you're suggesting.
I would suggest, kindly, that these esoteric hunts for hidden meanings distract from the gospel. I wasted years on that path. Jesus said the entire OT was about him. He told the Pharisees, in effect, if they read the Scriptures and don't see him, they read them wrongly.
I'm not suggesting you don't see him. Just that these hunts can distract. Just some unsolicited thoughts from a stranger on the interwebs. ✌️
I appreciate the thoughts.
One thing I'm learning the older I get is that things aren't as they seem; unless you seek to find the truth yourself, you can be led astray by the mainstream.
Be it the news, medical information, politics, and even history itself. I would not want to be so ignorant to think the same could not be the said about "Religion".
Jesus himself said if you seek, you will find. I hope we all can focus on what Jesus said closely and seek His truth, not our truth.
