I just used Tesflight to go back to Damus 1.4.3. I can zap again! Expires in 38 days…not available for download or app turns into a pumpkin? What does that mean?

Yeah. I have a Pinephone but have yet to find a functional OS. If you were leaving the walled garden of Eden in Cupertino, what would your choice be?

I just can’t bring myself to do Google hardware. GrapheneOS is a fit with the Pixels too. Google is nothing if it isn’t a personal data vacuum. That has been the entire business model since inception. Apple’s first business is hardware, also from inception, the walled garden is annoying but it works. I think I’ll wait.

Unless you are going out to mine your own minerals, you will eventually have to trust something.

IMO if you can trust apple hardware, i think you can trust google hardware. To each their own though.

I don’t disagree. Maybe Tesla will launch a Starlink phone in my lifetime. 😁
