Not to bad. Not as close to gigabit speeds as advertised, yet. It is however over twice as fast as it was yesterday after dude finished install. I'm sure my computer isn't helping.

Possible your router can't handle gigabit. Or just the wi-fi.

I'm plugged direct into the modem, everything else is wireless to the fiber connection. I'll start looking into tweeks. First thing I need to see if they (internet company) let me into the modem. The installer didn't provide a username and password and the only default one I could find online for that modem didn't work.

Maybe you can reset the modem manually so it become password free or it resets back to the one written on the sticker in the back?

My gigabit reach 800-900 Mbit by cable and 600-800 Mbit on WiFi.
