The best bet in my opinion is the list a small portion of Bitcoin sales on the tax form. Some non zero number. Keep some coin audit-able. Stay anon though.
My ears bleed when I heard that printing money may be ok in some situations.
About the tax collection issue caused by bitcoin, it will be too expensive for the government to investigate everyone and force them to tell their 12 words or to go in court with millions of people.
