I been following Michael for long time on the blue bird app. He always gave mean sound Christian advice that’s why I respect him. It good to see actually coming out publicly.
I am not into religion but: Why would someone worship a creation of the creator and put it on the same level as the creator himself?
This never made sense for me. My parents tried to indoctrinate me with catholic believes but I could not and still cannot wrap my head around the trinity. It just makes no sense for me.
The Holy Trinity from my understanding is:
God-The Father
God-The Son
God-Holy Spirit
All one God.
Yeah to worship something God created would be idolatry.
The Trinity is confusing, how can God be three..... but also one? But here is another thought, what if God doesn't care if we can comprend Him? If He exists, being infinite and omniscient, and we are his creations, wouldn't his "being" be too much for us to comprehend? I find Christianity easier to believe in because it doesn't make sense. The Bible has a bunch of weird and baffling stories, if it was all made up, who the hell would include all the incest? Something fabricated would be a lot more convenient.

I think that god would clearly want us to comprehend him. I mean that is basically the story of all prophets that "spoke" to god. Still can't wrap my head around and if I had to choose I would stick to the quran because there is no trinity. But I am glad I don't have to chose.
Jesus spoke on parables every time he spoke.
He spoke in parables for a reason.
He only wanted those who are ready to comprehend what he was saying.
The teacher appears when the student is ready.
