There are autists that have remade smash bros melee and turned it into an online game. Nintendo was pissed about it but couldn’t shut it down lmao
Yes, but shutting down the project isn't the only thing they can do. Nintendo will ruin devs & players lives with lawyers if they feel like it. They've been on a rampage lately. I'm not saying this will happen, but it's something to be aware of if you are using there trademarks and intellectual property.
