Why should they have to compete? The only real issue is that many with that hard boundary don't evergreen bother trying to satiate their husbands, and that's a dang shame.

So, to clarify...
Women should have hard points they won't allow to be crossed. I don't mean to imply that they shouldn't.
However... How many of these cases are started because a wife begs off from having sex one too many times? Or lets herself to to the point that she's not as attractive as she used to be or, well, in other cases, just a hideous bag? (The man should also take care to remain attractive, too, so it isn't just a one way street.) Will a guy want to have sex with a nag? After a while, probably not. So, in many cases, I think the issue wouldn't be an issue if women would shut up and use their mouths in other ways to make men happy.
