Maybe check your settings to see if you’ve added a LN-URL
I thought a LN address was sufficient (mine is 375qmto2MSwTu64uDViB9KvFeTu7ANm8bk and is on my Nostr profile ). The LN-URL seems to be the outdated method. Plus, my Lightning app (directly downloaded from Lightning Labs' GitHub) does not provide me with any LN-URL. I am new to this; any guidance would be highly appreciated!
No probs ! I think you should have a Lightning email associated with your Lightning wallet - that’s the thing you want to save in your settings - under the field which says Lightning tips
Alright, so after doing some research, it seems that Lightning Labs' LN address is not usable for zaps on Nostr (yet, hopefully). Instead, one needs to use a "lightning network-compatible wallet that supports zap" (email-address like), which can be offered by many other apps. I just set up mine via WalletOfSatoshi (on Android), updated my Nostr profile and should now be ready to be zapped on Nostr.
Not very user-friendly yet, but we are still in the early days. ⚡
