I wonder if someone will do the math: find out market cap for all ETF, add up and see if it matches 1:1 with the incremental Bitcoin market cap. If no match, something’s fishy

There will be watch dogs. Financial institutions have a legal requirement to disclose their assets under management or dollars invested in funds. This is made available to the public through fund facts and prospectus documentation. No doubt, there will be people who monitor these things.
