The image you uploaded isn’t the one linked in the post.

The json contains a link to the phone one. Damus probably caches the image you uploaded, so you’re not seeing what actually is being returned by the server.

The interesting question is why did that image not end up on Nostr.build.

Correct.

The image was uploaded to nostr.build via my private dashboard. This gives me a link I can paste in Damus, and the option of deleting the media down the track. The image was cached by Damus and indeed now the app does not show me current state of things.

When I deleted the files from my dashboard, clients displayed broken link for a lil while (not MY Damus) . I assume .build eventually reused the url, as it was aware it was not used anymore.
