Acquiring ressources for the sake of acquiring them. Way past the level of what’s needed. It can be for profit, security, etc… There’s no negative connotation to it, it’s just human nature

That is intresting for me there a negative aspect to it. But i fully understand your view 🤝

Ya thats the only part of the definition that I was a bit iffy about. I wanted to distinguish between human greed thats intrinsic to human nature (the positive one) vs excessive greed (which has a negative connotation)

I see that for me whould be human desire and greed on its own implies excessive.

But i guess all humans have some form of greed 🤔

Yes I believe we all have it. We need our intrisic greed to save for the future, for example.

One great example of excessive greed is the government with “temporary” taxation and inflation 😂
