Like with everything, some will comply while others just keep using their wood stoves lol. Not sure its enforced much. Yet...
Just seems dangerous to encourage folks to not have the most obvious of heat generation backups.. especially in Canada of all places!
Its about control. We will obey more if we cant heat our homes without them.

Genuinely shocked that my joke (which I thought was ludicrous and in the realm of an impossibility) landed so exactly on the reality of the situation.
I wonder how they square that with their 100+ biomass energy plants across the country. Guess only the little fires matter. 😂
Well wood furnaces don't need electricity or a wifi connection to operate, so they must use the old-fashioned surveillance method of going door to door and searching for the offending oven.
