if there is a little person around and you can safely get them to an open toilet window that they can fit through this is also a novel solution

in general, aluminium sliding windows pop open without significant damage even when the spring latch has closed automatically, it make make a "PING" noise when you do it and there is a very small risk you might crack the glass, but only if it's really thin glass, they can flex a degree or two without breaking and they are big

another one is where you can get to an unlocked internal door via another route, i tried this route once but the open area i was able to get into was not open to the space where the unlocked internal door was

ended up calling a locksmith

if you don't know any reasonable and likely easy to pop windows that you can reach just call a locksmith

How good is the lock? Is it a dead bolt? If it's not a dead bolt and the lock wasn't installed with a security plate you can try sticking a credit card in to depress the latch inside.
