Nice. I can't control dreams that often but it's awesome when it happens.
Whenever I'm flying in dreams it's mostly gliding, like a jump up, then somehow get lift, glide down semi slow but able to get lift at times like thermal. No flapping arms and no wings.
Like your being pulled up by a force sort of between your shoulder blades but different because there isn't like a tremendous weight from the rest of your body pulling down.
I use to lucid dream almost every night. It was when I was floating regularly
