This heatbit company is shit. I paid 1200 for a heatbit and it is a paper weight now. Stopped working after 2 months. Customer service just strimgs me along with excuses and its been over a month and i havent got a replacement. I finally initiated a charge back on my credit card.

If you want to see the email copies i can show you i saved them all.

Damn that’s too bad, I wonder if you can take it apart and swap out the asic for an S9, at least save the cool enclosure. I believe you, it did appear a little too good to be true. Might have to go The DIY route next winter. Thanks for the input!

Im not the only one. There are several other plebs who were screwed.

That sucks, I’m glad I asked. Ben makes it look so easy I think I can pull it off myself. My only worry is buying a used S9 that may be faulty. Might have to avoid eBay and connect with Kaboom racks, probably a much safer route.

Yeah can you just get a new one?

I really wanted to give the company a chance, and when it failed i wanted to give them a chance to fix it, but it shouldnt take weeks to initiate a shipment and provide a trackimg number, even after they tell me they already have it in stock.

Then the CEO accuses me of threatening him when i have held my tongue long enough and am going to pursueotherr meams of getting my money back.

I hear ya you’re absolutely right, sorry that happened. Luckily you’ve helped prevent others from the same headache, I shared with Wicked & Ben so they are aware it’s DIY for now until a big player makes a quality product 🙏 smart using a CC though so you can get your money back soon I hope. Quite a headache either way.
