I’ve tried already to get them to set up a bitcoin wallet but failed. Idea is to set up a fund that can distribute straight to local community.

Of course, anything I can do. I did think it would be easier for say the food-bank or a charity to have a Nostr account (which I’m guessing will eventually happen).
Yeah, absolutely. But with such things, impersonating etc is also a bit worrying, as you can have multiple users with the same username 🫶🤷♂️
True, got to be a way of verifying them. It’s important the fund is going directly to said charity and recorded. Bitcoin fixes this ⚡️
I think this could be an amazing way to show off Nostr contributing to the society also through charities 🫶
It will be a great initiative and I’m sure will show the power of Nostr and positive reach it can have. What we are all here for.
