nostr:npub1pyaq0hn70tjr8cfqt9yqudgrntdpshcxrerr6mf9h54emkkn80js4gepnp i have that anxiety about things but i manage it.. i had a student though who would get stuck on it.

if he went to a new location and had never been inside, he'd park his car and be unable to get out. or he'd go to the door and be unable to go inside.

i no more heard he'd done that once than i knew immediately - go take photos, or find a screenshot to send. circle doors in the photos, draw arrows, make notes.

he needed this help and i could do it. why not make it easy for him?

nostr:npub1pyaq0hn70tjr8cfqt9yqudgrntdpshcxrerr6mf9h54emkkn80js4gepnp i get that neurotypical people have this world designed for them, but why is it worth mockery when someone has difficulty?

why wouldn't they want empathy and help when they struggle?

i give them help and empathy every day when they can't figure out things that are simple for me, but they don't notice because i'm not a jerk about it to them for their inability to do things I can do quickly, or intuitively.

leave it to a neurotypical to be a habitually blithe bully.
