Not really because it is infinitely divisible and absolutely scarce. It is an opposite system to inflationary money printing.

Yes early adopters will exorbitantly more wealthy than laggards.

However their wealth will not make others objectively poor, because early adopters cannot inflate (steal) the value of the late adopters.

Do you know what I like most about #NOSTR ?

You're right and I'm wrong, but you didn't chew me out or tell me I'm a luddard, or try to make me feel small, you gave me a well explained reason why you think I'm wrong.

It is also possible I am a dumbass and don't understand cantillion effect or your question. It can go either way lol. But yes with bitcoin and nostr we gain more by helping each other and cooperating than by trying to tear each other down.

Nostr is to spread information which should be accurate and true to the best of our knowledge so we can each utilize reliable knowledge to build with.

Bitcoin stores and transports the value securely and is futile to fight or try to steal.

We are enabled by these technologies to bring out our pure cooperative qualities, as you noted.

The prime factor, I believe, as to why the Cantillon effect doesn't apply here is because, as you pointed out, the money is scarce and finite and reduces with time. Therefore as the money moves down the system it does not get diluted, but in fact increases in value.

And then I can even zap you 😁🎇🏁

You can't be a luddard, if you are on nostr and bitcoin you are a hyper-advanced technology adoptor and wayshower. A leader
