I have to leave my current job, and it's the first time I've been sad to go. I love the people here, and I would've loved to become the office mom. But fiat is a cruel master. Sometimes we have to abandon otherwise good situations in its pursuit.
Sorry to hear that, but change can be good sometimes. At least you don't have to burn a bridge!
